The Nevada Overdose Data to Action (OD2A) team has released March updates, including new monthly surveillance reports and upcoming office hours for partners interested in overdose data.
What is Overdose Data to Action (OD2A)?
Overdose Data to Action (OD2A) is a Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC)–funded initiative that supports state and local partners in using timely, high-quality data to inform overdose prevention and response strategies. In Nevada, the OD2A team collects, analyzes, and disseminates actionable data—including emergency department visits, fatal and non-fatal overdoses, and other surveillance indicators—to help communities identify trends, guide resource allocation, and strengthen coordinated response efforts across the state.
Monthly Non-Fatal Overdose ED Visit (DOSE) Reports
Updated monthly reports highlighting trends in non-fatal emergency department (ED) overdose visits (DOSE reports) through February 2026 are now available.
Recent data indicate that counts are lower in most regions compared to prior years. These reports provide regional insight and can support local planning, outreach, and response efforts. Community partners and stakeholders are encouraged to review the data for use in program planning and decision-making.
March OD2A Office Hours
The OD2A team will host their monthly office hours on Friday, March 20th from 10:00-11:00 AM. These sessions are informal and have no set agenda. Participants are welcome to drop in with overdose data–related questions or requests for one-on-one technical assistance. If you are interested in attending, please register at the link below.
