This is the fourth of six sessions in the Resiliency-Informed Substance Use Prevention Learning Series.
This session offers a deeper dive into the application and practice of CRM skills. Through group activities and discussion, participants reinforce the six core skills and examine how sensory awareness and resilience-building support holistic prevention strategies, particularly around substance use. The session also highlights current research and explores practical ways to bring CRM into a variety of communities and care settings.
Learning Objectives:
By the end of the session, participants will be able to:
- Reinforce and expand on skills learned in CRM training.
- Explore how sensory awareness and resiliency building support holistic substance use prevention.
- Explore the application of CRM skills in various environments and populations.
- Summarize current research related to CRM and other mindfulness-based wellness practices.
- Contribute to safety and wellbeing in the community
