The study titled “Using SBIRT (Screen, Brief Intervention, and Referral Treatment) Training to Reduce the Stigmatization of Substance Use Disorders Among Students and Practitioners” examines how SBIRT training can mitigate negative attitudes and stigmatization toward individuals with substance use disorders (SUDs). The findings suggest that incorporating SBIRT training into healthcare education and practice may reduce stigma, thereby improving patient engagement and outcomes in SUD treatment.
