The Nevada Opioid Center of Excellence (NOCE) aims to assist in this effort, by offering essential resources, evidence-based training, and technical assistance to both professionals and community members.

​The 2023 National Survey on Drug Use and Health (NSDUH), conducted by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA), provides comprehensive data on substance use and mental health among individuals aged 12 and older in the United States. The survey covers topics such as the use of tobacco, alcohol, and illicit drugs; substance use disorders; mental health issues; and the receipt of related treatment services.

SAMHSA’s Providers Clinical Support System – Medications for Opioid Use Disorder (PCSS-MOUD) is hosting a four-part learning Exchange Session that address requirements, strategies, and considerations for integrating opioid use disorder treatment in various care settings. Sessions start on August 1 and run each week through August 22 at 12 p.m. PT.

Registration for the 5th annual Southern Nevada Substance Misuse and Overdose Prevention Summit is now open! The summit will be on Thursday, August 1st from 8am to 5pm at the Cox Pavilion (4505 S Maryland Pkwy #2022, Las Vegas, NV 89154). Parking will be included in your registration. Registration for this event costs $25 per person, however scholarships are available.
