This is a private technical assistance event for Northern Nevada Legal Aid.
This course will provide an overview of Opioid Use and Stimulate Use screening, diagnosis and engagement in treatment. Signs and symptoms will be explored as well as an understanding of medication assisted treatment and management of withdrawal. The continuum of care and evidence-based practices will also be addressed through this training.
Learning Objectives:
- Understand OUD and stimulant use to better coordinate services
- Identification of diagnostic criteria for substance use
- Exploration of the Nevada treatment continuum of care for OUD and stimulant use
- Understanding Medication Assistant Treatment for OUD
