By the end of the session, participants will be able to:

  1. Explore the role of storytelling in education, advocacy, and substance use prevention
  2. Examine the power of stories as a means to create belonging and reduce stigma.
  3. Gain perspective from subject matter experts working with prevention programs informed by lived-experience
  4. Gain insight into urban and rural experiences with substance use and mental health
