This is a private technical assistance event for Washoe County Human Services.

Learning Objectives:

By the end of this presentation participants will be able to:

  1. Understand the importance of establishing care with a pediatrician, postpartum follow-up and family planning
  2. Understand the importance of education on car seat safety
  3. Understand the importance of education on safe sleep
  4. Understand the importance of education on harm reduction strategies
  5. Understand the importance of aiding caregivers in establishing a healthy support system
