Nevada Opioid and Overdose Data Training – Navigating National Overdose Data Dashboards

The Nevada Overdose Data to Action Program (OD2A) will be hosting the third of four data-related trainings on June 11 from 12:00-1:00 PM. This data training will provide an overview of several national overdose-related data dashboards and tools, including how to access, interpret, and apply these data resources to support prevention, response, planning, and public health efforts in Nevada. Anyone interested in overdose surveillance, prevention, behavioral health, public health data, or community response efforts is encouraged to attend and share this opportunity with colleagues and partners who may be interested.

About Overdose Data to Action (OD2A)?

Overdose Data to Action (OD2A) is a Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC)–funded initiative that supports state and local partners in using timely, high-quality data to inform overdose prevention and response strategies. In Nevada, the OD2A team collects, analyzes, and disseminates actionable data—such as emergency department visits, fatal and non-fatal overdoses, and related surveillance indicators—to help communities identify trends, guide resource allocation, and strengthen coordinated response efforts across the state.
