Across the country, overdose and suicide are among the leading causes of maternal mortality. Yet evidence shows that if just one support factor had been different, like a doula, many of those deaths would have been preventable.
For the past year, journalists Celeste Hamilton Dennis and Florence Middleton have been reporting a story about harm reduction doulas in Seattle with support from the Pulitzer Center.
This webinar brings together three people from the story:

- Destiny, childbirth educator and parent with lived experience of substance use who worked with a harm reduction doula
