Nevada Opioid and Overdose Data Training: Locating Data

Nevada Overdose Data to Action Program (OD2A) will be hosting the first of four data-related trainings on February 26th from 12:00-1:00 PM. This session, Nevada Opioid and Overdose Data Training: Locating Data, will show participants how to identify key opioid and overdose surveillance data sources available in Nevada and demonstrate how to access and navigate Nevada’s public overdose data dashboards. Those interested in attending can register at this link. The session will be recorded and shared with the listserv for those who are unable to attend live.

About Overdose Data to Action (OD2A)?

Overdose Data to Action (OD2A) is a Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC)–funded initiative that supports state and local partners in using timely, high-quality data to inform overdose prevention and response strategies. In Nevada, the OD2A team collects, analyzes, and disseminates actionable data—such as emergency department visits, fatal and non-fatal overdoses, and related surveillance indicators—to help communities identify trends, guide resource allocation, and strengthen coordinated response efforts across the state.
