SUMMARY:13th Annual Northern Nevada Diversity Summit
DESCRIPTION:The University of Nevada\, Reno\, in close collaboration with Nevada System of Higher Education institutions\, is pleased to announce the 13th Annual Northern Nevada Diversity Summit. This event celebrates thirteen years of engaging faculty\, staff\, students and community members in the statewide sharing of information relevant to educating and ensuring the workforce readiness of all Nevada’s citizens. The Summit also serves to showcase private and public sector advancements that are direct outgrowths of teaching\, learning\, research and professional training being performed across all NSHE institutions. \n\nThe 2026 Summit will take place at the University of Nevada\, Reno on April 16\, 2026 and April 17\, 2026. The decision to offer two full days of programming reflects strong feedback received at the conclusion of last year’s Summit. This expanded programming is supported at both the level of the institution and the System\, reflecting a sustained commitment to student success\, workforce readiness\, economic development\, and pathways to advancement for all Nevadans.\nBe sure to SAVE THE DATES for the 2026 Summit across all your electronic and paper calendars. More information on this year’s theme\, registration\, keynote speakers\, and the schedule of events to follow.

DESCRIPTION:The OD2A team will host their monthly office hours on Friday\, April 17th from 10:00-11:00 AM. These sessions are informal and have no set agenda. Participants are welcome to drop in with overdose data–related questions or requests for one-on-one technical assistance. If you are interested in attending\, please register at the link below. \nAbout Overdose Data to Action (OD2A) \nOverdose Data to Action (OD2A) is a Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC)–funded initiative that supports state and local partners in using timely\, high-quality data to inform overdose prevention and response strategies.
