This day-long celebration highlights the achievements of women\, promotes gender equality\, and inspires collective action for a brighter future. \n \n\n\n\nEvent Highlights\n\n\n\n\nAccelerate Equality Walk & Run – Kick off the day at 8:00 AM at Sparks Marina and join hundreds of participants walking or running in support of women’s empowerment.\n\n\n\nCommunity Vendor Fair – Connect with local organizations providing resources and support for women and families.\n\n\n\nLight the Arch Purple – Join us in downtown Reno from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM as the Reno Arch lights up in purple\, a powerful symbol of unity and progress.\n\n \n\n\n\n\n\nWhy This Matters\n\n\n\nInternational Women’s Day is about celebrating progress while continuing to push for change.
