DESCRIPTION:Legal Aid Center and its community partners invite you to a workshop reflecting the themes of “Supporting Independence in Young Adults with Disabilities” and “Avoiding Court Interventions as You Age.” Experienced attorneys will explain options to avoid guardianship and court control of your life as a senior or as a young adult with disabilities or autism. \nAfter the presentation\, you’ll have the opportunity to speak with an attorney for a free consultation about any of the following: \n\nCreating a power of attorney\nAdult guardianship\nAlternatives to guardianship\nOptions for young adults with disabilities\nHousing and other related issues\nDebt and other related issues\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nIn addition to this workshop\, Legal Aid Center and the William S.
